[otrs] Reg: sample CSV for import/export feature in OTRS ITSM 3.0.2

Hi,

I have OTRS ITSM 3.0.2 configured,i'm looking for import/export feature and would need sample CSV template for this feature to work.

i have create a template like:

Sno,servername,Ip,etc however when i run import ,i'm getting an error saying 1 failed;0 succesful message in log.

Hi Ravi,

 

In order to create a template you have to use as follows:

·         Add a class : Admin tab à General Catalog à ITSM::ConfigItem::Class

·         Copy definition : Admin tab à Config Item Managementà Select an existing templateà Click on change class definition

·         Select and edit existing definition template to suit your needs i.e. Sno,servername,Ip,etc

·         In order to make a value mandaton add CountDefault => 1 else  CountDefault => 0 for optional paramets of CI’s

 

Sample CSV: (which may be obsolete requirement considering the above)

·         Create an initial config item using CMDB feature

·         Use import / Export feature to export a sample CSV format
