[otrs] OTRS 2.4.7 - Mysql database max size support

Hi,

I am using OTRS 2.4.7 on Linux with Mysql Database.

Data size is 13 GB.

Please let me know what is the max size it can support without affecting the performance.

Of late I am experiencing that the respone is slow, it is beacuse of the BIG size of database?

Hi Amit,

13GB of data for a Database server isn't too much. What kind of Hardware do you have in your DB Server? (CPU, RAM, HDDs).

Have you optimized your my.cnf for big databases ?

Hi Oliver,

It is a virtual machine hosted on VMWARE with 2 GB RAM and 80 GB HDD on a HP DL360 G6 server Intel Xeon Quad Core.

I am sure I have not done any optimisation in my.cnf

Please guide.
