Group number fixed or changed?

Hi,

I have a question on the "group". As i run the game from round 1 to round 10, I found that on the bottom shows that the players change from group 1 to group 2 to group 3. etc .

To my understanding , (as I wanted), the players should remain the same in the same group, even among rounds. Do I misunderstand it?

Yes, group membership remains the same between rounds, unless you change them yourself. The "group ID" changes each round but that's just because each round has separate group objects.
