I wasn't a close friend of Peter Cardillo, but I do remember the name well. Sorry to hear of his passing, happening too often to people I know unfortunately. I guess at our age we can't avoid this kind of news.

I looked back at a couple of previous emails, and it made me wonder how John Stanley is doing. He needed heart surgery in a big way it seemed.  Are you still with us John?  Sure hope so, and that the surgery gave you a new lease on life.

Thanks for your note Steve, Yes, I had heart surgery to replace 4 arteries back on Dec 4. Last week I was back in the hospital for some complications that arose. After 8 days I was released yesterday with some new meds. Follow up with the surgeon in 2 weeks. Hope all is well with you.

That's great news John, even with some complications. Best of luck with the new meds. 

I'm doing OK, but I have noticed that I'm getting a little older. Hard to believe. :-)

We are all getting older/YOUNGER but to tell the truth we are all getting better. Thanks for all the updates on our group members. I am, and continue to be supportive of all of us.
