Dear Sir/Madam,
The IIHS is pleased to announce a short-course on Urban India and Environmental Sustainability in Delhi from January 6th–10th, 2012. This 5-day course is meant as an interdisciplinary introduction to the key issues of environmental sustainability that Indian cities will need to address. Critical challenges facing key sectors like transportation, energy, water and sanitation, land and buildings will be examined with an emphasis on issues of equity and poverty.
The short-course is meant for advanced undergraduates, postgraduates, and working professionals with less than five years of experience. Application is open to candidates from all disciplines. We would be grateful if you could nominate/circulate this to appropriate candidates who may be interested in this short course.
