Summer Shivers: An August Ghost Story Event!

August 18th we'll be gathering in front of the store to hear the Seattle Storyteller's Guild tell creepy ghost stories, the store will be showcasing horror and steampunk themed art by The Nautilus Studio (thenautilusstudio.com), and we're hoping to get Kerry Cook back to cut her traditional Victorian silhouettes.  Preserve the moment in a delicate black work of art!

 

Those of you at the opening may remember her free-hand cutting her lovely silhouettes in the back--but she needs to know if it's worth a very long drive. Would anyone buy silhouettes? I believe the prices are $30 for the basic silhouette and frame, $10 for a copy made at the same time, and $40 for a costume silhouette in frame. They're beautifully crafted, and excellent gifts, or just a darksome memory saved.

We need to let her know if anyone is interested in getting a silhouette!  If no one will, we'll let her know and leave her off the flyer.
