Dear Otaku Illustrated Subscriber,
So continuing with animals, I will continue with the next name for a cat. The next cat that we'll be talking about is the scary cat, which is known as the kowai neko.

So continuing with Japan's food challenges, the next one that I'll be talking about is the spiciest ramen challenge that takes place in Nakano, Japan, a city just to the west of Tokyo. When a Japanese restaurant wants to show how spicy a meal on their menu is going to be, they'll put small chili images next to the name of the meal. One means it's going to be mild, two means it'll be a bit spicy, and three means you'll be screaming "hot damn!" while you're eating it. The challenge is to eat the hottest ramen in Japan, which will have a chili rating of 12, although some people say that it loses all meaning after 9. And when you get the noodles, it'll be so spicy that it'll be colored red and the broth will be a thick paste almost similar to lava. You only really have to eat the noodles to be done, drinking the broth afterwards is a bonus. There's no time limit, and you drink a glass of milk to show that you're done.

I've been loving this story ever since I first saw the anime on Adult Swim. So as you can probably guess, I will not be missing out on this upcoming manga based on it. Even if it is just a silly spinoff comedy, I'm still going to be checking it out. If you've also seen the anime on Adult Swim and love it so that you know you won't be missing out on this upcoming manga, or even if you've never heard of it but you want to see what the noise is about, then we can both pre - order ours below:
