Want to learn how to show gratitude for food like an anime character?

So continuing on with the topic of ordering in a Japanese restaurant, this next one is itadakimasu.  Now this is pretty unique to Japan because you're basically expressing gratitude for the meal.  You've most likely already heard anime characters use this before when they say things like "Thank you for the food!" right before they start eating.

So continuing on with the things that you shouldn't do in Japan, you shouldn't ask someone to pass you any food when you're at the dinner table.  When the meal is placed in the center of the table, everyone is expected to reach in with their chopsticks and take what they want.

I've been loving this series ever since I first play it on my Super Nintendo way back when I was just getting started as a gamer.  While I seriously doubt that I ever finished the SNES game, I did finish every game since.  I even loved the FPS games that were made in the series and I normally hate FPS.  So as you can probably guess from all this, I will not be missing this Switch game for anything.  If you feel the same way as I do, or you just want to check it out for the first time, we can both pre - order ours below:
