Dear Otaku Illustrated Subscriber, 
So continuing on with the topic of the Japanese structure. So now that we've assembled the puzzle, let's try it out with an example. I ate lunch with my friend at a restaurant on Sunday. Translated to Japanese, this would be written as I on Sunday with my friend at a restaurant lunch ate.
So I will now continue on with the Japanese Empire. Today, I will now tell you about Hiro Onoda himself. Born on March 19, 1922, Onoda joined the Japanese military at 18 years old. Onoda was from a long line of Japanese warriors and could trace his ancestry all the way back to the samurai that fought in the many battles of feudal Japan. His own father was also in the military and was KIA in the second Sino/Japanese war. Showing a natural talent for thinking outside the box, he was specially trained by the elites in jungle warfare. And I'll be talking about how this would greatly benefit him next week.
As much as I love watching the anime, I never once thought to check out the manga. But now that I found out about this upcoming complete hardcover collection, this is my chance to finally fill in this gap. After all if I love the anime so, there is no doubt that I'll love the manga as well.
