Dear Otaku Illustrated Subscriber,
So continuing on with the topic of ordering in a Japanese restaurant, this next one is Hai. Daijoubu desu (Yes. Not a problem.). This is clearly what you'd hear from the waiter after you make a request that the restaurant can do for you.
So I will now continue on with the topic of the Japanese Empire. After Emperor Taisho passed in 1926 he was replaced by his son Emperor Showa, also know as Hirohito. While Japan was heading for Democracy under his father, Hirohito favored the military and started returning Japan to a expansionist totalitarian state. This included the Emperor being praised as a deity. But in 1931, Japan needed to make it's final push because they were running low on resources. And since that will be a pretty long topic, I'll save that for next week.
When I first read what this manga was going to be about, I could only think about how this non - isekai story sure comes very close to being an isekai story. Wanting to follow in the family tradition of becoming a knight but being the weakest knight, an almost fatal injury causes her life to flash before her eyes. This makes her remember being the powerful saint that took down a demon lord in her previous life. This makes her regain her saintly powers, but she's trying to keep them hidden because she doesn't want to be a saint anymore.
