Dunedin Orienteering Club AGM Agenda and Reports

Hi everyone.

Please find attached the agenda for the Club AGM and the annual reports. There are 6 files; the Agenda, the Annual Report, the Financial Reports, the Membership Report, the Central Otago Reports and the 2025 AGM minutes.

As you already know, the committee has decided to move that the Club changes its name to better reflect the spread of membership throughout Otago. We recently conducted a survey of members preferences and the results were as follows:

Changing the club's name is a change to the Club's constitution and our constitution may only be amended by a Resolution of Members at a General Meeting (Clause 11.1).
The following motion will be put to the membership at our AGM on Sunday 29 March, 1pm at the Cricket Pavillion, Chingford Park, North Rd, Dunedin.
That the Dunedin Orienteering Club Inc changes its name to the Otago Orienteering Club Inc.
Voting: This motion will be determined by a majority vote, being more than 50% of the members aged 16 years and over present at the AGM (Clause 5.15). Our constitution does not allow proxy votes, so you must either be present or online at the following meeting link:  meet.google.com/gdm-pwcq-ykm   for your vote to count.

If that motion is passed at the AGM, we will inform the Registrar of Incorporated Societies and ONZ and we'll ask ONZ to change the 2 letter acronym to OT. We will then commence using OOC as our club abbreviation.

We are still keen to recruit new committee members. If you are interested in joining us on the committee please let me know anytime before the AGM commences.
