Kia ora koutou,
What a great weekend. I'd like to thank Matt Bixley (controller) and Tim Hodgson (Planner) for today's sprint at Montecillo Park / Southern Cemetery. It was fantastic to see so many of you out enjoying the lovely winter day.
Fraser has now posted the results on our website, here. You can go onto 'splits' to see how you did between each control compared to everyone else who ran that course. Apologies again for the computer issues. Hopefully, these are all resolved now.
A message from the Controller.
A big thank you to all who helped out today.. The Matthews family for coming
early to help setup, Hobbs family for helping on the BBQ. Cotters for pack
up Myrthe and Sarah control collecting. Fraser, Torin, Jas and Tim for
manipulating the computers and managing registrations. Charlotte, Tone and Ann
for training. All of that makes it a much easier day for the Planner and
Controller.
A big thanks to Tim Hodgson as a 1st time planner. Tim has been orienteering
for a couple of years and stepped in to have a go, and I felt he did an outstanding job with the courses, understanding what the different levels needed, learning the software and beginning to learn all pre-event things that happen.
A huge thank from me, I had very little to do.

We have purchased an AED which lives in the caravan. It is only useful if people know how to use it. For this reason, we are encouraging as many people as possible to gain confidence to use the AED should it ever be required.
