Forrester Park Orienteering this Sunday 🗺️ 🧭

Kia ora koutou,

A reminder that we have the second event in the Dunedin Schools Series at Forrester Park this Sunday, 10th May. 

Start times will be 10.30am - 12pm, with a short training session at 10am for anyone who wants to pick up a few tips & tricks before doing their course.

This event is open to all and we look forward to seeing you for some fun courses around this beautiful area planned by Nick & controlled by Matt.

We have extended online registration until this evening.

Please help us with map printing numbers & efficiency on the day by registering online.

Thanks to all those who have done so already!

🌭🥤Don’t forget to bring cash for Henry’s sausage sizzle and drinks fundraiser for his trip to the European Youth Orienteering Championships in Slovenia in June!

We always need plenty of helpers on the day so if you are able to lend a hand, please reply to this email (not reply all).

Start times will be 10.30am - 12pm, with a short training session at 10am for anyone who wants to pick up a few tips & tricks before doing their course.

This event is open to all and we look forward to seeing you for some fun courses around this beautiful area planned by George Hyink & controlled by Otto Hyink.

Just a reminder that tomorrow's weather forecast is for wintry conditions - cold rain and potentially strong winds. Although this is currently improving as the day goes on.

Regardless, the tracks and forest floor are wet and slippery in places. Please dress accordingly and wear grippy shoes if you have them.

If we make the decision to postpone the event due to weather conditions, we will do so by 8am tomorrow.

Fingers crossed the weather continues to improve, and we enjoy a nice day like today.
