Hi all,

Here are the finalised details for this event.

Where: Park corner - Lachlan Ave, Queen's Drive and
Date: Sunday 27 September 2026

Starts: 11 am - 1 pm. (it will be first day of daylight saving, so may feel like 10 am).

Course closure: 2:45 pm.  You must be back at the Event Centre by 2:45pm so we know that you are safe.

OY Long format

The registration form link is:

Please register by midnight Tues 23rd Sept so that we can print the appropriate number of waterproof/tearproof maps.  We’ll have SOME spare maps for those who turn up without having registered but likely paper maps and limited supply.

The map is based in the Town Belt, so is undulating urban bush with plenty of tracks and paths to follow.

Start and Finish location: small playground between Queens Drive and Stonelaw Terrace, South of Lachlan Ave.

Parents with children may wish to park up Stonelaw Tce.

6 courses, indicative as follows:

Yellowy-White 1.5 km               60 m  (Novice)

Yellow                 1.5 km               70 m  (Beginner)

Orange*             2.8 km                210 m (Intermediate)

Short Red         1.7 km                110 m (Experienced)

Med Red            2.4 km                170 m  (Experienced)

Long Red           3.4 km                285   (Experienced)

The easiest two courses (Yellowy-White and Yellow) are entirely between Lachlan Ave and Drivers road, though caregivers are very welcome to go out with children for safety around streets/roads.

*Yes, it looks like a bigger challenge than the medium red but looks can be deceptive.

Full leg cover and good running/walking shoes are recommended as the forest floor can be muddy and slippery in places.
