Notice of the Annual General Meeting of the Dunedin Orienteering Club Inc.
The Annual General Meeting of the Dunedin Orienteering Club Inc. will take place on Sunday 29th March 2026 at 1:00pm at Chingford Park, North Rd, Dunedin.
In accordance with clause 5.3 of the Club Constitution, the following business will be discussed at the AGM:
(a) confirmation of the minutes of the previous (2025) AGM;
(b) the Committee’s presentation of the following information during the most recently completed accounting period:
(i) the annual report;
(ii) the annual financial statements;
(iii) notice of any disclosures of conflicts of interest made by Officers (including a brief summary of the Matters, or types of Matters, to which those disclosures relate);
(c) the election of the President, Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President (if opted for) and other Committee Members;
(d) consideration of any motions proposing to amend this Constitution that have been properly submitted for consideration at the AGM;
(e) consideration of any other items of business that have been properly submitted for consideration at the AGM.
In accordance with clause 5.4 of the Club Constitution, any proposed motions and other items of business must be notified to the Club committee at least two weeks before the date of the AGM. i.e. midnight, Saturday 14th March 2026.
In accordance with clause 5.4 of the Club Constitution, the Club Committee has already received a notice of motion to change the Club’s name. The final wording of the proposal will be included in the Meeting Agenda in accordance with clause 5.5 of the Club Constitution.
