Fall Colors on Hyde Park road

Hi Folks,

   After our Black Canyon loop on Friday I drove up the road to confirm where it is currently closed. Borrego-Bear Wallow parking lots was nicely filled and the road was fully opened until the Big Tesuque Parking Lot, which was overflowing. The aspens are turning nicely. I believe there is a commitment to have the road open to the ski basin on Sundays (at least in October...but maybe also tomorrow).

My step-daughter and I drove up to Big T yesterday- and as Pam said parking lot overflowing - but it was indeed worth it
