Tomorrow, February 27, you are welcome to join us for a hike in Bandelier National Monument. We'll meet at
8am at the DeVargas Center southwest parking area near HomeGoods at 8am and drive to the Bandelier visitor center. Bring your National Park Pass if you're driving your car. From the visitor center we hike past the Ceremonial Cave to the trailhead
of the Frijoles Canyon trail. It's a mostly flat trail next to the small creek called Rito de los Frijoles. There will be several creek crossings, usually with a few convenient rocks to make the crossings easy. I've been told that the water level is low right
now. It's a beautiful canyon, the weather looks good, and the temperature should be in the mid 60s.
This easy in and out hike is about 6 miles long with less than 500' elevation gain. We expect to be back to the DeVargas parking lot by 4pm.
Please RSVP if you'd like to join us.
