Cancer Aid 2008

It's that time again folks. This Saturday is the Cancer Aid of Gap's
Annual Concert/Benefit. Every Summer, this organization of amazing
people come together to raise thousands of dollars for local families
who are suffering from the devastating effects of Cancer. The benefit
is held at the Gap VFW. For a mere $25 you get free food...TONS of
food, free beer/drinks, and a multitude of amazing bands. If you're a
motorcyclist, bring your bike! There will be biker games, raffles,
and prizes for the most interesting bikes in the bunch.

Odd Thomas has been fortunate enough to be able to help out. This is
our fourth year and I can say that every year it gets better and
better. We take the stage at approximately 6:15 give or take a few
minutes. Here is a list of the bands playing this year's benefit:

I can't stress enough how amazing this benefit is. And believe me,
this is not a sales call. Neither Odd Thomas or any other band is
making a single dime off the event. WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

Where?: Gap VFW, 4988 Lincoln Highway, Gap PA 17527
When?: Noon to 10pm

The Cancer Aid Benefit will be held this Saturday, August 2nd. The
fun starts at noon and will run til 10pm. Tickets are $25 and can be
purchased from a band member or directly at the door the same day of
the benefit. Again, the cost of admission includes food, beverages,
bands, games, and that wonderful feeling of knowing you contributed to
a wonderful cause.
