Hi all,

I just uninstalled Pulse Secure, and now when I try to use sshfs I’m getting this:

-----
kext load failed: -603946985
mount_osxfuse: the file system is not available (255)
-----

In Console.app I see:

-----
default    19:57:37.261940 -0400    kernel    Kext com.github.osxfuse.filesystems.osxfuse start failed (result 0x5).
default    19:57:37.261944 -0400    kernel    Kext com.github.osxfuse.filesystems.osxfuse failed to load (0xdc008017).
default    19:57:37.261949 -0400    kernel    Failed to load kext com.github.osxfuse.filesystems.osxfuse (error 0xdc008017).

I’m running 10.14, so I’m not sure why it’s looking in a directory named 10.11. The Info.plist file in that directory has the correct (most recent) OSXFuse version.

Could folks here suggest anything for investigating why I’m getting this error—and hopefully resolving it?

Thank you!

OK, I did a `kextstat` and saw that there were some VirtualBox extensions installed … which is weird because I uninstalled VBox.

Once I removed those, I was able to use sshfs.

So … I appear to be good now. Sorry for the noise!

cheers,
