Trying to replace Razer on Monterey

I'm trying to replace the Razer Synapse on my M1/Moneterey computers. Synapse won't work on the new OSs.

When I install the latest Karabiner and apply the Complex Modifications for the Razer Synapse. So now the 01 key is now CONTROL-SHIFT-F and so on. Karabiner Event Viewer confirms that this is working.

But, no other program (including Better Touch Tool, which is part of my ultimate plan) is seeing these modifications. If I try to capture the Razer/Karabiner keystrokes in BTT, it sees nothing. If I turn off Karabiner, I can capture keystrokes. Razer01 is "Q" But I can't get BTT to recognize the Razer separately and keep my Q-modification from affecting my Mac Keyboard as well or I'd just do that.)

What I'm trying to do is this: I have my Razer Tartarus mapped to run Photoshop and Clip Studio commands, keeping me from needing to take my hand off my Cintiq. I've seen an article online about paring Karabiner and Better Touch Tool so that Razer01 becomes Control-Shift-F becomes a B so I can activate my pencil tool in Photoshop.

• If I could modify the complex modification so that I could make the Razer be whatever key commands I'm ultimately looking for, that'd be great. But, while I can see the modifications, I don't know how to write one directly.

• Barring that, I need BTT or some other program to convert the Razer keystrokes to the key command combos I need.
