Microsoft Ergonomic Surface Keyboard connected to a MacBook Pro

I've successfully connected the Surface Keyboard but, as I have found out, the Apple OS (Mohjave 10.14.5) won't see the device as a keyboard. It otherwise functions perfectly but I want to swap the two keys that make it behave like a mac keyboard: Windows key for Option and Alt key for Command. After installing Karibener Elements, I was excited to find that it automatically recognized my keyboard and made the swap commands for me. However... it's not doing anything. I consulted the software site only to find my version of Karibener, 10.22.0, doesn't have the same interface as shown on the website (see screenshot). I just want to swap two keys. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
