When using the hyper-w key (Shift-Control-Option-Command-W) on MacOS Catalina, it runs the system/wifi diagnose for the OS at /private/var/tmp. Before MacOS Catalina, I used hyper-w to open Microsoft Word. It still opens Word but runs the system diagnose at the same time which eats up the CPU resources while it running.

Is there a "Complex modificiations" option that can remap the hyper-w to be free of the sysdiagnose, or another way of achieving this? I believe this was possible using Karabiner on previous macOS versions that used the hyper-period shortcut for sysdianose (I'm not sure why Apple decided to switch from hyper-period to hyper-w).

You could have hyper-w just run a bash command to open word, instead of typing the letters hyper-w.

Could you provide an example (a Google search wasn't fruitful) of how that would be done? Also, does it matter that macOS Catalina uses Zsh instead of Bash now?
