I've recently had a problem crop up that may actually be related to Karabiner, but I think Karabiner can help me fix it regardless. My mouse has a tendency to register single-clicks as double clicks. I have even use the Event Viewer that comes with Karabiner to see what gets registered as a single click vs. a double click, and at least 60-70% of the time, single clicks get registered. I've swapped out mice to no avail, and I am thinking that this is just the kind of think Karabiner could fix for me - but I have no idea how to do it.

Is it possible to create an XML entry for detecting double-clicks that occur within a certain time frame and converting them to single clicks?

I think your mouse button's hardware switch is bouncing.

Please upgrade Karabiner to the latest beta version:
https://pqrs.org/osx/karabiner/document.html#check-for-updates

Then, enable attached setting. (You can find it by searching "bouncing".)
And adjust threshold in Key Repeat tab.
(Increase value until double-click is vanished.)
