OSX Version : 10.10.5（14F27）
Karabiner Version : 10.8.0
Mac Hardware : MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013)
Keyboard Hardware : Macbook keyboard (US)
3 Enabled
Change Backslash(\) Key - Backslash(\) to Delete
Change Delete Key - Delete to Backslash(\)
For Japanese - 左右のコマンドキー を「英数／かな」としても使う コマンドキーの動作を優先モードv1
(Command keys to Eisuu / Kana(English / Japanese) , mode priority over Command key's function v1)
My left Shift key doesn't work. I test with new setting and still not working. Sometimes like just after rebooted my Mac, it works but very sooner it will not work again. The right Shift key properly works.

I cannot reproduce this issue.
Does your left shift key work properly when you quit Karabiner?
And does the latest beta version of Karabiner also not work?

I upgraded it to the beta version and anything didn't change, so I quit Karabiner and rebooted the Mac , then things went more complicated.
After rebooted, mostly the Shift key get able to work, but rarely, especially when typed any key immediately after pressed left Shift key, it didn't capitalize.
There is less problem compared to when Karabiner was enabled, so I think something wrong with Karabiner, but other cause may exist, I will try to find on my own too.

最新のベータ版にアップグレードしてみましたが変化はなく、Karabinerを終了してMacを再起動させてみたのですが、余計にややこしい事になりました。
Karabinerを終了・再起動後、ほとんどの場合では左Shiftキーは正常に作動しましたが、稀に、特にShiftキーを押してすぐに他のキーを押した場合、大文字にならない事があります。
Karabinerがオンの時と比べて圧倒的に問題は減ったので何らかの関係はありそうですが、原因は他のところにありそうなので、自分でも調べてみる事にします。

That problem sometimes happen when a dust got in your keys pantograph.

If your problem is not hardware issue,
"ignore bouncing" setting might help you.

I'm sorry "ignore bouncing" didn't help me this time.
It got not working again a while after rebooted. I think there is some problem with hardware, I will ask Apple Support (I checked the pantograph but seems no dusts).
