Help with settings for Citrix / WIn10 on Mac using a Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard

Hello all,

I am using a Macbook Air M1 (BigSur 11.6)with a Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard (US Layout). For work I use Windows 10 via Citrix Viewer Version: 20.10.0.16 (2010)

Currently the windows shortcuts do not work (ctrl-v, ctrl-c, etc) and need a way to map my keys so they work both for Windows and Mac.  If I go into System Preferences -> Keyboard-> Modifier Keys, I can map the keys so they work fine in Windows/Citrix but then when I toggle back to the Mac all of the short cuts no longer work.

This is where I believe Karabiner comes in but I'm unclear how to get these settings to work. I searched this Google Group and found this https://groups.google.com/g/osx-karabiner/c/ZE08wQb02us/m/D2WvpGivBQAJ however I'm not sure if this will work in my use case and how to implement this.

Any support appreciated please!
