I have tried uninstalling and re-installing HP support assistant several times, but still keep getting the same error message, something about HPSA.exe encountering a fatal error, yadda yadda yadda, end of the world everyone run screaming into the streets.

The Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant works by running tests to figure out what's wrong and offers the best solution for the identified problem. It can currently fix Office, Microsoft 365, or Outlook problems. If the Support and Recovery Assistant can't fix a problem for you, it will suggest next steps and help you get in touch with Microsoft support.

As a DSA for OPWDD you will help people by assisting them to learn and develop daily living skills and habits; you will help them take care of their own personal needs; you will advocate for, encourage, guide and teach people to express personal choice. The coursework in this certificate program addresses methods for assisting in the instruction, guidance, and classroom management of students by performing a variety of instructional support activities related to grade level curriculum. Integrating current technology into the learning environment is also introduced. All courses transfer to the Foundations of Teacher Education Associate Degree.

The Advanced MSA will work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary coordinated care delivery model. They work with the patient care team to review the clinic utilization by using various reports, ensure that the clinic setup is closely monitored to effectively support the needs of the clinic, and make any necessary adjustments. They develop/maintain effective and efficient communication with the patient, interdisciplinary team, VA medical centers, and other agencies.

The Advanced MSA is responsible for scheduling appointments, including interpreting and verifying provider orders in accordance with VHA national scheduling guidelines. Assignments at this level include, but are not limited to: scheduling, canceling, rescheduling patient's appointments and/or consults; entering no-show information; preparing for clinic visits; monitoring both inpatient and outpatient appointments for areas of responsibility; ensuring action required encounters are printed to providers twice daily in order to obtain appropriate workload credit; verifying and updating demographics and insurance information; processing all emergency and non-emergency transfers to other VA facilities or private hospitals; performing basic eligibility, co-pays and preauthorization requirements for specific coverage.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Accepts and supports the guiding principles of this Healthcare Systems. Performs assigned duties in a manner that promotes quality health care, outstanding customer service, and the maintenance of an environment committed to serving the veteran.
  • Develop and/or maintain effective and efficient communication with the patient, interdisciplinary coordinated care delivery model teams.
  • Provides information regarding clinic and hospital polices, procedures, and locations to patients, family members, and staff.
  • Actively supports the team concept and functions as a team player. Contributes to team initiatives and continuously strives to improve the effectiveness of the Primary Care teams and/or specialty clinics.
  • Responsible for initiating and carrying out a variety of administrative duties in support of patient care in one or more of the outpatient Specialty Clinics, Primary Care Clinics or the inpatient wards.
  • Keeps team members informed and up-to-date concerning appropriate established regulations. Regulations concern eligibility for care, availability of and requesting special tests and procedures.
  • Must analyze, interpret and implement regulations accurately to reflect current operating procedures and is familiar with procedures concerning changes in regulations or policies.
  • Responsible to check patients in upon arrival. Upon check-in, clerk will update patient demographics, to include; address, telephone number, next-of-kin, update employment, and collect insurance information.
  • Maintains and monitors patient appointment schedules for the clinic and communicates delays to the appropriate staff and patients.
  • Maintains patient's confidential records, copies, and file documentation.
  • Consult Management.
  • Orders and maintains office supplies, if assigned. Assures that supplies are used efficiently.

Work Schedule: Decided at hiring, based on operational needs, rotating and Irregular shifts which may include days, nights, weekends and holidays.
