Associate Software QA Engineer
* Able to execute existing test plans with little guidance within 30 days. * Able to navigate through QA specific planning/tracking tools with little guidance within 30 days. * Able to validate defect fixes with little guidance within 60 days * Able to help define acceptance criteria with business analyst and developer within 60 days. * Demonstrate to team members the ability to write/execute test plans for new product development within 90 days.
* Develop and execute manual test cases and show ability/initiative to learn to develop automated tests * Design detailed test cases and procedures from requirement specifications * Functional testing, regression testing, and system-level integration testing. end-to-end testing and acceptance testing as needed. * Ensure all product releases meet or exceed defined quality goals * Work with business analysts, development teams, and internal groups to ensure customer requirements are being met * Test new applications as well as continue ongoing, repeatable testing for existing products
* Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience * 1+ years' experience in software quality assurance focused on Web-based applications/reports/web services * 1+ years' experience testing reports in a Sharepoint/SSRS environment * 1+ years' experience writing test cases and test plans * 1+ year(s) experience using QA testing tools. Mercury Test Suite preferred, including: Test Director/Quality Center. * Experience in Black Box Testing, Gray Box Testing a plus * Conceptual understanding of Relational Databases
