Car painter

My wife 89 mustang has a case of the EPA paint rots.. Most places
are asking $1500+ to paint the hood. Way to much to spend on the car.
SO.. I am looking for a weekend or after hours auto painter that
can do a good job at a reasonable cost. Any recomendation?

I tried ford and they told me to kiss off. I have been told by 3 seperate
ford dealers that there are programs to help with this know ford problem.
Calls to the ford responds number ended with 2 wasted hours on hold,
a denial that anything is wrong with any paint on ford cars and a refusal
to let me talk with any supervisors about this issue.
