There's nothing inappropriate about it. The consensus reached is that
auction advertisements are OK, as long as they're labeled as such. Most
people use "FA:," but an "ebay" in the subject line is obvious enough.
Perhaps this particular poster should provide a brief description of the
item here, so someone can decide whether it's really worth it to look at the
ebay page.
