The EPA Game Challenge was a big success! We recycled 6,456 lbs of material and collected 6,620 containers to redeem for the food share! See pictures and more info here

Recyclemania Planning Meeting this Thursday!

• Thursday, 11/11 - 3:00 pm-4:00 pm
• Student Sustainability Center - 738 SW 15th St (near 15th & Western)
• A meeting to brainstorm plans and potential partners for Recyclemania 2011. Recyclemania is a recycling competition between universities that occurs every winter; this year it runs from January 23rd through April 2nd. We would like this year’s competition to be more collaborative than ever, involving lots of campus groups in many topic areas within waste reduction. How can we accomplish this? Come share your ideas!

More Opportunities to Recycle at Football Games!

• Saturday Nov 13th 11:00 am-1:00 pm, Nov 20th 3:00 pm-5:00 pm, and Dec 4th 10:30am-12:30 pm
• Reser Stadium - meet at loading dock on opposite side of 26th Street across from LaSells
• As fans enter the stadium, they are required to dispose of all food and drinks. You can help keep recyclables our of the trash by staffing bins at the stadium gates before the game, helping fans sort. In the game does not sell out, you get in for free after volunteering.
