VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Build a Structure from Recyclables

Thursday, February 3, 5:00-7:00 pm,

Surplus Warehouse (644 SW 13th St)

Join us to construct a large structure (a sea monster) out of recyclables that will be on display in the MU Quad next week. No need to sign up – just show up! You deserve a break from midterms! JOIN OUR FACEBOOK EVENT

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Recycling Video Interviews

Monday, February 7, 1-hr shifts 12-3 pm, ESPECIALLY 1-2pm and 2-3pm

Memorial Union Quad

We will be out in the MU Quad interviewing passing students on camera about why they recycle, and then compiling the footage into a YouTube video! Come help us by flagging down students to interview or running the camera. Sign up by emailing Andrea...@oregonstate.edu. JOIN OUR FACEBOOK EVENT

 

Outdoor Compost Workshop

Thurs, Feb 10, 4 pm

OSU Co-Op Housing Courtyard (next to Azalea House at Madison & 11th)

A discussion and demonstration at the co-ops’ composting system to learn what can go in a compost bin or pile, how to maintain it, and what problems to look out for. Get all the tips you need to get one started at your home! If possible, please bring a bag or container of compost to sort and add to the bin. JOIN OUR FACEBOOK EVENT
