Volunteer for OSU Move-Out Week!
Help the People, Help the Planet
Did you know that more trash is produced during the annual residence hall move-out week than most any other time of year? But you can help!
OSU Campus Recycling needs volunteers at any time between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm on Thursday, June 10th and Friday, June 11th. We will
either send you out on routes with our crew, visiting res halls to sort and collect recyclables and donated items, or work with you in the warehouse, accepting incoming items and sorting them.
Every res hall has bins in its lobby for recyclables and reusable items (clothing, bedding, food, etc). Unwanted items are donated to OSU and Corvallis organizations in need. Therefore, this is not only a great way
to divert perfectly good items from the landfill, but is also a way to help people in our community.
Please sign up to volunteer so we know who to expect at what time. You can sign up for any length of time,
at any time between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm (when our warehouse is open). We are located at 644 SW 13th St (13th & A).

This is a big undertaking and an enormous opportunity to both divert organic material from our landfill and educate people from our community and beyond about composting!
