Run multiple ostinato python script in parallel

Hi guys,

I'm trying to model several network traffic profile running a lot of stream one after an other.
The problem is that when I try to run several script in parallel, ostinato don't manage to follow the bit rate I defined.
Is it possible to do so ? On start of every parallel script, the bit rate slow.
I would like to know if it's an ostinato issue or if it's some kind of hardware limitation.

Most likely the aggregate rate is more than the hardware capability.
Does a single stream with that rate work on the same hardware?

Also, I'm not really clear why you need different scripts to run in
parallel. Are all the scripts controlling the same drone?

I have 4 scripts that control 4 different drones. And yes, I manage to run a bit rate higher than the sum of all of them with a single one.

Actually I use mininet and run 4 drones on 4 different hosts, so in fact it's on the same physical machine. I tried on a better computer and it work better but still not properly

I ran a top to see what's happening with my drones process and i find out that, whatever you put on your stream, one drone will use 100% of assigned core. As I have a quad core process, I just can run 4 drone correctly, them ostinato reduce the bit rate.

Is that normal that a drone use a whole core even with a low bit rate?!
