"Generator not tester" was the feedback about Ostinato from one reviewer - which is a fair criticism. I reached out to them and asked what tester functionality are they looking for? The answer -

RFC 2544 - the performance benchmarking test suite

Although it's possible to do the RFC 2544 tests manually with Ostinato today, an automated test suite is any day better.

So, that's what I'm building next after 100 Gbps!
