Hello there,

I'm using the starter plan on Ubuntu. I have some questions.

1. Where is the download portal for protocol emulation? Or can a starter account download the protocol emulation Docker?

2. Is there any way I can easily build 1000+ streams?

3. The stream statistic is not updating? Is it an expected behavior?

4. Is there any way to configure the stream statistic with IP or MAC instead of ID?

Protocol Emulation will be available in the next version 2.0. It is not available in 1.3.0 or earlier

Do you want 1000+ streams or flows? How does one stream differ from another?

Real time updates on stream statistics is NOT supported. You can fetch stream stats only after the Transmit has finished - https://userguide.ostinato.org/stream-stats/#limitations

4. Is there any way to configure the stream statistic with IP or MAC instead of ID?

Not currently. Can you describe more on what you want and why?

Hello Srivats,

If we combine questions 2 and 4, you can understand it easily.

With current limitations, the statistic is based on the signature ID. But the signature ID is not clear to me. Therefore, I need something to identify which flows or streams don't work. IP or MAC is the easiest way to locate the streams or flows. When we agree on this part, then you know the difference between the streams or flows will be IPs or MACs. Eventually, we can have a statistic per IP (or MAC) instead of ID.
