Source mac resolve failed for one or more streams - Device matching streams source IP not found

Hi,

 

I have just purchased Ostinato Standard and installed it in Eve-NG Pro, I tried a very quick test similar to the tutorial but received the error below when clicking Apply.

 

Port -: Source mac resolve failed for one or more streams - Device matching stream’s source IP not found

 

I’m sure I’m doing something wrong, would you be able to put me on the right track please.

Ben,

The source ip that you have configured in the stream - is it assigned to the NIC by the OS?

If not, you need to configure an emulated device with that IP in Ostinato - see https://userguide.ostinato.org/device-emulation/
