Dear Ostinato Team,
My name is Kovalenko Oleksandr Volodymyrovych, Professor at the Department of Cybersecurity and Software, Central Ukrainian National Technical University (CNTU), Ukraine.
We have recently launched a postgraduate program in Computer Science, with focus on high-performance computing, distributed systems and networked applications. To support teaching and research — especially in network testing, performance evaluation, and distributed computation — we plan to build a small networking & compute lab.
We are interested in using Ostinato as a traffic generator / packet crafter to enable realistic network testing and research. We kindly ask whether it would be possible to obtain licenses (or an academic usage arrangement) — in particular, for the version that supports high-speed traffic generation (Turbo / line-rate). Our university currently has limited resources, and such support would significantly improve our lab capabilities.
All use would be strictly academic and research-oriented; no commercial or military applications. We are ready to acknowledge Ostinato in any publications, courses, and share feedback from our experience.
Thank you for your time and for developing a tool so useful for educational and research projects.
Best regards,
Kovalenko Oleksandr Volodymyrovych
