Support and commercial usage

Hi,

We are looking into using this software in a lab without internet access due to security. The questions I have are:

1. Can the license be applied offline?
2. For commercial use, which license should be purchased?
3. For the priority support, what kind lead time are looking at?
4. When you say per user, does this mean a single instance running on a host/server? We would have two ethernet ports that need to be saturated on a single host/server.

We are looking into using this software in a lab without internet access due to security. The questions I have are:

1. Can the license be applied offline?

Yes 

1. For commercial use, which license should be purchased?

Please purchase the Business Bundle.

If you need 10G or higher line rate, also purchase the Turbo add-on. 

1. For the priority support, what kind lead time are looking at?

1 to 2 business days typically. At high support times, this might extend a bit.

1. When you say per user, does this mean a single instance running on a host/server? We would have two ethernet ports that need to be saturated on a single host/server.
   

User refers to a human user. For your use case - a single server with 2 ethernet ports, one license is enough. If you have multiple human users using Ostinato on this single server for testing, you need as many licenses as users.

1. We have two servers and we need to test a device from both. Can you confirm if the business license allows us to use this on both servers?
   
2. Do you have a  terms and conditions (EULA) we could review for this business license?
3. Can you confirm for a single turbo license, will this allow us to test two ports?
4. We will likely be going forward with the business license plus a turbo add-on, could you throw the python license for free?

Yes - as long as the software is used on both servers by the same person.

No. Turbo is licensed per port - so you would need 2 licenses.

I'm afraid that will not be possible.
