Hello,

I am considering purchasing your product for testing in a small network. I wanted to find out how quickly I am able to move the client/server from one PC/laptop to another? For instance, if I wanted to test a LAN backbone with a client/server in one location on laptop A and B, and then test a WAN link in another location on laptop C and D, is this possible and which license would we require?

Regards,
Kelly.

Kelly,

Ostinato can be used for bandwidth tests, but it's not a client-server
model like iperf/jperf.

It's only a source of traffic. You can use it at the destination to
monitor traffic rates, but it's not really a sink for the traffic.

You can learn more about the Ostinato architecture at

Not sure about what you mean by "move from one PC/laptop to another".
Do you mean you want to buy a single license and then to move it from
one PC to another, you will uninstall it from PC1 and install it on
PC2?
