Can i use Ostinato for datacenter network simulations?

Iam working on data center networks. I want to do some simulations in mininet & floodlight.

For that i need traffic generator. can i use Ostinato for data center network traffic generation???

I haven't worked with mininet, but from what I quickly read from the
website, it uses network namespaces to isolate network components such
as hosts/switches and then uses veth pairs to connect them together.
Can you use wireshark (or any other PCAP based tool) with veth? If so,
you can use Ostinato as well. You might get more help on this from the
wireshark/libpcap mailing lists.
