If someone has access to the Weener OSB....

Could someone take a photo of the entry for Loert Wientjes (d. 1814) in the Weener OSB book for me? Not a transcription--a photo. Here is what I need:

So three photos:

1. entry for Loert Wientjes, including the page number

2. title page of the book

3. publisher page of the book

Original records are always best!

OGSA has microfilm for the church records of Bunde and Weener along with the surrounding villages at the Minnesota Genealogical Society in Mendota Heights, MN.

I think an 1814 death will not be found in the church records (I did look)....at least FamilySearch search engine does not pull it up in the Civil register (French). That Napoleon--why did he screw this up?

Loert Wientjes died 12.3.1804! Both the OSB Weener and Weenermoor are incorrect imho.

After checking out the images..…

The Loert Wyntjes that is in the Weener book that you attached as an image is the grandfather of the Loert Wientjes I am looking for. I am looking for the grandson and the son of Baaye Loerts Wientjes. It appears he died as a child (Mother: Wupke Hinderks)

I have found a birth in 1802. In my records I have his death in 1814, (French occupation) but I cannot find his death in the original records. I thought maybe the Weener books would have a clue as to where to look or provide me with a source to cite.

Thanks, Teijo. It appears I did not provide enough information to make sure you looked in the right generation. But a lesson to be learned— same name does not always equal same person!!

Ah. The OSB Weenermoor gives this child Loert as * 21.05.1802 Bunde + 11.10.1814 Möhlenwarf. And the OSB Weener gives * abt 1806 + 11.10.1814 Möhlenwarf. This is the death record you are looking for?
