I am not able to setup this information in an OStatus enable account.

Reading the evan post (http://ostatus.org/2010/10/04/how-ostatus-
enable-your-application), he says:
"Enhancing your feeds with ActivityStreams
data, like a verb and object, can make the information much richer.
Adding
<link> elements with rel=”avatar” will make the user's avatar
available."

This is my questions...where should i put the link in the Atom??

I tried to put it right after the several '<feed> level' link
elements(e.g. hub, salmon, ...), but it isn't recognized yet...(e.g.
Status.net account)

I tried to put it inside the atom <author> element; it works out
well(Status.net accepts it and figures out the avatar!!)...but
unfortunately, the Atom feed become not compliant with the Atom
specification (tested towards the W3C validator http://validator.w3.org/feed/)....Does
Status.net also accept non-valid atom feed??

I took a look at a status.net profile atom feed and i noticed that
they use the <link> element with rel="avatar" inside an
<activity:subject>.....what about this element??? I can't see this
element in the ActivityStrems specifiation...

thanks
