Twelve students from the School of Health Professions and the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences (SoMAS) were aboard the RV Peconic, a U.S. Coast Guard-inspected catamaran, houseboat-style vessel used for operation in protected bays and rivers.

This trip was the second seal watch of the year, following an inaugural trip on February 10 for 20 physician assistant students from the School of Health Professions and members of the University Police community relations team.

During the winter, he explained, seals migrate to Shinnecock Bay from Cape Cod and Canada in search of warmer water and more abundant food supply. Seals begin to appear in mid-October and by mid-March, he has seen as many as 200 in Shinnecock Bay.

During low tide, the seals sun themselves on a sandbar near the inlet. On the March 1 trip, Paparo estimates that the group saw 200 Harbor seals. For many students, this was the first time seeing a seal in its natural habitat.

Camp background:
I have been going to camp for as long as I can remember. I was a camper at a day camp for many years in my hometown and then I became the counselor of that camp for many years. I moved on to be a counselor at SCC and that was the best choice.

Why I decided to work at camp:
I have been working with kids since I was 12 and I always enjoyed it. I have been a camp counselor, babysitter, nanny, and teacher. I was searching for an out of state camp job and happened to find SCC and I fell in love with the place.

Favorite Activity at SCC:
I love swimming because it is fun watching the little ones learn to love the water and become great swimmers. I also love the crafts because they are very creative and the kids enjoy them.

What I love most about SCC:
If you love working with kids as much as I do then you will love it. The counselors love what they do and they enjoy having fun. SCC is about making the day fun for the kids and we get to have that experience with them!

What have you learned from camp and what will you take with you in the future?
Camp, and in particular Southampton Camp & Club is an amazing opportunity to learn and grow in a camp environment. You get to work with other people your age and be a role model for kids every day during the summer. I will always try my best to be a good role model for kids I teach and will definitely help foster the STARFISH values we learned at camp. I also will always carry the great memories I have made at SCC and keep in contact with good friends and campers. I hope to return one day.

With less than two weeks to go until the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III, Southampton is gearing up to celebrate this historic occasion. The Coronation ceremony will take place on the morning of Saturday 6 May at Westminster Abbey, where His Majesty will be crowned alongside The Queen Consort in a service that reflects the Monarch's role today while being rooted in long-standing traditions and pageantry.

To ensure that everyone can share the excitement of the Coronation weekend, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) is supporting the city by enabling it to broadcast key moments. As part of this initiative, a giant outdoor screen will be set up at Westquay, on the Esplanade in Southampton, where people can watch the Coronation coverage and the Coronation concert on 7 May. The screenings will be open to the public and will be free of charge. There will be no tickets required, and everyone is welcome to attend.

In addition to broadcasting the Coronation ceremony live on 6 May, the Big Screen will showcase the highly anticipated Eurovision broadcasts. This includes the opening ceremony on 7 May, the two semi-finals on 9 and 11 May, and the final on 13 May. This is a significant event, as the UK is hosting Eurovision on behalf of Ukraine. Eurovision tickets were sold out within 90 minutes, and the public screenings on the giant screen will undoubtedly add to the already unmissable atmosphere.

Laura Read, General Manager of Westquay Southampton said: "We are delighted to partner with Southampton City Council and the DCMS to provide a fantastic viewing experience for the Coronation and the Eurovision broadcasts. We look forward to welcoming residents and visitors to the Esplanade to share in this historic occasion."

One of the most used pieces of equipment is an actigraphy watch which we ask our patients to wear for one to two weeks. The device provides us with important information, such as sleep quality and circadian rhythm patterns.

Alongside this, we see rare sleep disorders such as narcolepsy. Although more complex sleep studies are required to diagnose Narcolepsy, actigraphy is an important part of the diagnostic work up, as recommended by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

We also manage children with a rare sleep disorder, sleep related rhythmic movement disorder, where children and young people rhythmically rock themselves to sleep. We use actigraphy as part of the diagnostic work up as it provides helpful information about the severity of the disorder.

One of the advantages of actigraphy is that it provides information about how the child or young person is sleeping at home, rather than in a hospital setting. It enables us to capture information over a number of nights, rather than just one.

Following yesterday's brilliantly sunny day at Wembley, the weather for this one is... not good. There is a lot of rain in the air, which might mean for a slick surface and the odd slip and slide on football's finest surface. Hopefully that won't lead to any howlers that could cost a team a crucial goal and haunt a player for years to come.

They'll have to overcome a club who beat them twice in the league this season, with Russell Martin's Southampton apparently having the measure of their Yorkshire opponents. Adam Armstrong's goals have kept them in the hunt all season after the pain of finishing rock bottom in the EPL last May, and another brace overcame West Brom in the Saints' semi-final.

It's all eyes on Wembley today, with no great surprised in terms of the starting line-ups. So keep reading for all the information you need to watch a Leeds vs Southampton live stream, including TV channels and streaming services around the world.

Sky Sports subscribers can also watch the football via the Sky Go app for desktop, iOS, Android, and Xbox and PlayStation consoles. If you want to sign up, you can check out our dedicated guide to Sky TV deals and packages for today's best prices.

You can get past these blocks, however, by using a VPN. A virtual private network allows you to change your computer, smartphone or streaming device's IP address to a location that is showing your usual coverage.

Earstones help the fish know up from down, determine their speed through the water and aid hearing. The researchers from UK, Norway and Denmark have now shown that it also acts as a fitness watch, revealing whether the fish had an active life or was completely relaxed.

Otoliths have been studied and stored for over 100 years, so now we can go back in time and see how the metabolism of fish has changed in response to industrial fishing and long-term climate change. But it is not only these scientific collections that contain exciting material for research. It is possible to find very old otoliths in archaeological sites known as middens. These otoliths, millennia old, still contain the carbon signal that reveals the metabolic rate of the fish.

Dr Trueman added: We have already started looking into the metabolic rates of cod living in the cold, but warming waters, around Greenland. We have otoliths from fish in that region dating back to 1926 which will help us understand the impact of climate on the well-being of these fish.
