I want to install latest OSSEC 2.9.1 server on KALI Linux.

Since KALI already has MySQL so I tried to do make setdb but it gave following error:

make: *** No rule to make target 'setdb'.  Stop.

Then I installed PostgreSQL 9.6 but same error.

Now when I have KALI inux which already have MySQL and I installed Postgresql and Then I used OSSEC 2.8.2 version and used make setdb but still following error:

Error: MySQL client libraries not installed.

Error: DB libraries not installed.

Please suggest some solution.

Thanks & Regards

That's no longer necessary in 2.9. You can set DATABASE to "mysql" or
"pgsql" (I think) to get support.

`DATABASE=mysql ./install.sh`
