Welcome to OSSCamps India's largest Unconference on Open Source

define: osscamps [o-s-s-kamps] - noun a series of community-driven unconferences targeted specifically at promoting FOSS implementation and development in India.

Welcome to OSScamps: a series of community driven unconferences specifically targeted at the promotion of FOSS implementation and development in India. We are a community of over 1500+ geeks and geeks-to-be, pan-India, who come together every few months in a camp to share their experiences, best practices, and wisdom on FOSS all across the nation.

These camps are intense events with discussions, presentations, and interactions from our participants. At OSScamps, every attendee is a participant. Anyone willing to contribute or wishing to learn is welcome in to the community. So come and join us and you will see the big change in yourself.

OSScamp is an ad-hoc unconference motivated by the desire of learning by sharing. We at OSScamp believe in the ideology of Open Source and thus create an open environment to facilitate learning at OSScamps.

There is emphasis on creating an environment where developers and end users can collaborate on creating and improving tools and technologies and to guide beginners to the right direction for adopting and growing with open source.

Dates: 12th and 13th March 2011

Where: Manav Rachna College of Engineering , A Block Auditorium

Time:    10AM to 6PM ( You can walk in and walk out any time prior to registration before hand or on  Day 1 at Venue itself)

Ideally you must take your Laptop so that you can connect to wi-fi and couple of friends together so that you can connect with many people together on stage, off stage. The event is all about discussing with people, technology they use and develop and getting exposed to new technologies.
