[Event] Drupal 7 Release Party - Jan 8-9, 2011 - IIT Delhi

Drupal 7 was officially released yesterday and January 7 has been designated as the global Drupal 7 Release Party day to celebrate the release. We are organising a Drupal 7 Release party in Delhi too. Since, 7th is a Friday, we are having the party on 8th and 9th. And its not just a celebration of the awesomeness that Drupal and its community is, but we will also set forth to explore Drupal 7 and how to get the best out of it.

Venue: Room No 501, Bharati Building, IIT Delhi

Timings: January 8-9, 2011: 10AM - 6PM

Day 1

10.00-10.30 : Welcome

10.30-13.00 : Hands On Introduction to Drupal 7 by Ankur Saxena

13.00-14.00 : Lunch

14.00-17.00 : Hands On - Building a Blog, Brochure Website, Community Website with Drupal 7 by Kinshuk Sunil

17.00-18.00 : Drupal Quiz

Day 2

10.00-13.00 : Developing Drupal Modules Workshop by Sudhir Porwal

13.00-14.00 : Lunch

14.00-17.00 : Theming Drupal Workshop by Gaurav Mishra

17.00-18.00 : Cutting the Drupal 7 Cake and networking

Please be there on time. Delhi ki sardi is for the organisers too who will be there before 10. If they can, so can you. It is only with your participation that the event becomes successful. Not by content. Not by Experts.

Note: 

Food is not sponsored. 

This is a community event and free for all. 

We will take contributions for the Drupal 7 Cake on Day 1, and have it on Day 2.

Please bring your own resources like laptops, mobile datacards, powerstrips, cameras, etc.

The event does not have any presence on any social network. Any event page created around it is unofficial and might not have relevant information.

We look forward to having a lot of Drupal fun at the party together. Already 57 people have registered. It will be a fun celebration.
