Launch of INFUSE Venture Accelerator for Early Stage

Greetings from INFUSE Ventures – a cleantech focused early stage fund and ecosystem managed by IIM Ahmedabad's Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship !

We are delighted to inform you about the launch of INFUSE Venture Accelerator (IVA) - a unique initiative aimed at catalyzing the growth of early stage cleantech start-ups through access to seed capital and an enabling cleantech ecosystem. IVA is a 6 month long high-touch accelerator during which our team and ecosystem will work actively with the selected early stage cleantech start-ups - helping them identify and bridge gaps, define roadmaps, build strong teams and speed up their market entry.
What does a cleantech start-up gain from the INFUSE Venture Accelerator?
(each entrepreneur's needs and hence the takeaways will vary)
- Unparalleled access to an ecosystem of cleantech experts (across verticals and functions), distribution networks, potential customers, suppliers, service providers, potential co-founders and policy makers - all collaborating to accelerate your venture
- Build a strong advisory board and get mentored by the best in the field
- Build lasting relationships with like-minded cleantech entrepreneurs participating in an 8-day “power booster” start-up bootcamp at IIM Ahmedabad
- An opportunity to rewind and review their vision, strategy and business plan and getting equipped with the necessary tools to execute them
- Seed equity investment (per venture) of up to $ 50K (Rs. 25 lacs) and follow-on funding of up to $2 million (Rs 10 crores) from INFUSE, apart from access to other potential investors

- Their time to participate in a "power booster" start-up bootcamp at IIM Ahmedabad to help us better assess their needs and fit them with those of INFUSE

- A small stake in each start-up based on their stage, capital and support requirements

Key dates and selection process:
- August 2nd to 31st – Online application period: apply at www.f6s.com/inva
- September 15th – Shortlist of start-ups for interviews
- October 7th – Announcement of finalists for the Start-up bootcamp at IIM Ahmedabad
- October 27th to November 3rd – 8 day start-up bootcamp at IIM Ahmedabad
- November 3rd – Final selection of start-ups for the accelerator and offering term sheets
- November 2012 to May 2013 – Incubation period
- May 2013 – Evaluation of incubated start-ups for follow-on funding
