Hello

The Student Reps program is a Mozilla Contributor Engagement program designed to involve and integrate students in promoting Firefox and Mozilla's mission. Student Reps are passionate, creative, and resourceful people, who are studying in college or university and want to contribute to promoting the open web in their institutions and local communities. For full details on the Student Reps program, you should check out this site: http://studentreps.mozilla.org.

The Student Reps program is an extremely rewarding program that helps students make an impact, advance their skills and become leaders in the Mozilla community and beyond. An active Student Rep takes advantage of the tools and resources provided to get the most out of his or her experience in the program.

Starting March 21, Mozilla Student Reps will offer an ongoing online presentation to train and interact with new and existing contributors to the program. To sign up now, click here:http://mzl.la/Stu-Reps-March2012-Training-Signup.

The training, called Student Reps 101, will be broadcast online live via Air Mozilla and be archived on the Student Reps wiki: http://studentreps.mozilla.org.

The next live presentations will take place:
  • Wednesday, March 21 at 18:00 UTC
  • Sunday, March 25 at 15:00 UTC

Watch the full announcement here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epDTqkJTpxg.
To receive a reminder and presentation slides for the next live training, please register by March 19, 2012: http://mzl.la/Stu-Reps-March2012-Training-Signup. More about the program in my blogpost: http://www.kinshuksunil.com/blog/taking-back-web-one-student-time

This is an exciting opportunity for all school and college students to get involved with the Mozilla project.

Best!
