I just tried to restart audition after a hard reboot, and it gave me an error that it couldn't access my recovery files because they were incomplete or corrupt or whatever. I'd had several audio files open and a couple of sesx files. I'd like to be able to recover the lot, if possible, but as far as I've been able to find out Audition only keeps the most-recent recovery file (i.e.: the corrupt/incomplete one), and I might be SOL in that regard.
I hope you're well. I'm hoping someone can help me as I've found no luck online. I need to move my premiere pro sequence to audition for the audio mix. Sounds simple right? I know! It should be. Normally I would select the video and audio - then edit - then edit in audition - sequence
My issue is that when using latest audition version (2021) the media explorer changed the way files import is handled. Now, Audition try to load the whole folder inside his media explorer interface and take very long to do it (several minutes).
What ess said about adobes approach to software I agree with. They seem determined to ruin all of their decent software with bugs and features no-one needs, and develop new bits of software for the suite - rather than pushing what they have into the future. Looking at you illustrator.
