Hi everyone,

We are excited to announce release 0.2.0!

There are many changes and new features including:
  • Adaptive rho and much more reliable convergence!
  • Julia interface OSQP.jl
  • Shared libraries available on bintray.com
  • New MKL Pardiso interface using shared dynamic library loader

For more details see github.

Hope you enjoy it! Let us know if you find any bugs.

Best,

I am having trouble reproducing the results of OSQP 0.1.3 runs when I apply the new 0.2.1 release to exactly the same problem data. I suspect that it might have to do with setting the configurations in the new version so that it replicates the old behavior. I tried turning off the adaptive rho options etc, but no success so far.

Could anyone post a set of OSQP options (for the 0.2.1 solver) that will make it replicate the 0.1.3 behaviour?

Thanks.

Version 0.2.0 introduces adaptive rho which significantly improves performance. I recommend you to use it. To disable it, you should set the parameter adaptive_rho=0.However, I am not 100% sure this will reproduce exactly the iterations and timings that you have in version 0.1.3 because we implemented many performance improvements on the way.

Note that if OSQP converges, the solutions will satisfy the termination criteria up to the tolerances independently from the version number.
